So, how did the five lonely men spent their X’mas Eve together?

Initially I wanted to have a pizza&beer session with JD on the X’mas Eve, so the day before I called PizzaHut and ordered their Jingle Joy Party Meal (S$39.90), requested delivery time 6pm on 24 Dec.

But I realized that it is kind of ‘gay’ for two guys to spend X’mas Eve together, and it will be good to celebrate in a larger group. So we decided to call more friend to join us.

So according to the plan there will be 5 guys in total, SH, YG, JD, my roommate HT and me myself. JD is in charge of buying drinks, i.e. green tea and beer, and I ordered another pizza as the group size increased.

5:30pm the pizzas arrived. I was a bit hungry and quite tempted, but it’s not time yet, and we were still waiting for YG and HT to arrive.

YG came from Lab at 6. He didn’t know there’s shuttle bus today and actually walked all the way from South Spine to the Graduate Hall area. HT smsed and said he would be late, and let us start first.

Merry X’mas! Here’s our food.

We did the eating in my block’s TV Room, while SH was playing ‘The Hulk’ on my laptop. Food was finished fast and we left some pizza and chicken for HT, and then we realized the mosquitos are too overwhelming. Even when we were eating, I managed to kill at least 5 by smashing those landing on my skin.

So we decided to move back to my room.

JD suggested NFS11, so I fixed my Logitech MOMO Steering Wheel. We took turn to play, and obvious SH and YG had no experience with steering wheel at all. While it’s their turn to drive, cars run to everywhere but the track. It looked more like a off road race. However they pushed the blame to drunk driving, as we started drinking beer after eating the pizzas.

Then JD and SH continued with the racing, me and YG played with my film camera and read some photography managized I bought previously.

It’s almost 8pm when HT rushed back, his flight to Beijing is at midnight and soon after he come back, he started packing his lugguge.

End up he didn’t have time to eat pizza at all, and left for the airport at around 9.

Day ended when I falled asleep on bed. Didn’t sleep well the previous night. YG left when knowing his GF is online. She is spending X’mas Eve alone in Nanjing. He must have rushed back to talk to her online. Later JD and SH left too. JD is also flying back to China, his flight is on 25 Dec.

So our small gathering ended. I become all alone in the room. Gerald and Mianmian left for Thailand, Elise and her BF Xun too, and now JD and my roommate are both flying back. Orh… I’m so lonely, haha.

Maybe it’s a good time for me to clean up the room, and do some of my own stuffs. I am having a ’Single Deluxe Room’ for the next two weeks until HT come back. Anyone want to visit?
