People from Microsoft are really getting smarter now days.

I was trying to download 2007 Microsoft Office System Beta 2 and after filling up pages of forms and surveys, I was required to do a email verification.

Microsoft send an email to my Hotmail address and I am expected to click the link given in the email to prove that I'm the owner of the email address. This is a common practice while registering for forums or softwares, and emails sent to my Hotmail account are always treated as junk mail.

And this time, even Microsoft's own verification email was treated as junk mail by Windows Live Mail which is, too, under Microsoft.

How smart.
