Since Singapore is too small to have "landing dirt strips" like in US or other big countries, the only option is to land at Changi. Why not military bases? "National Security". Then, we'd have our fighting capabilities crippled and thus unable to respond to any further threats. Well yeah it sucks but that's the way it is. I got no idea why it eventually landed at Changi Airport. I thought Seletar Airport would be a better choice. Even if terrorist, don't think it would try a head on crash with commercial airplanes in the air. Would be easier to aim buildings. And why escort it to land at Changi airport? Why not the airbase?
