With the release of elective subject allocation results, my time table for this semester is finally fixed. 7 subjects, 23 AUs, not the heaviest I have ever taken, but together with Final Year Project, it’s not gonna be easy.

EM105 Energy Resources Management, CM102 How Computers Work and EE8092 Digital Lifestyle are 3 elective subjects. If I knew it was so easy to get first choice subjects for final year students, I would have chosen PHO215 Introduction To Black And White Photography. Not only because it is a photography subject, but also because this subject has no exam. But it’s okay, I am satisfied with the allocated subjects.
MP3002 Mechanics Of Deformable Solids and EE2002 Analog Electronics are two subjects that I didn’t clear in previous semesters. And I don’t have much interest in either one. Still I will have to study them and make sure I will pass at the end of the semester.
MP4E05 Materials Selection & Design is a subject I will have to take in order to fulfill the required 4 Major Prescribed Electives. I have already completed 3 in last semester and specialized in Aeronautical Engineering, so it doesn’t matter what subject I am going to take now. In fact I got no idea what is this subject about. According to the school website, the subject contains ‘Review of basic engineering materials properties. Materials selection in design. Process selection in design.’ Sounds boring, I would have taken MP4F03 Quality Assurance And Management if it doesn’t clash with CM102 which I have to take. Quality Assurance sounds like a more interesting topic to learn.
The last subject is MP4011 Mechanical System Design And Analysis. Heard from course-mates who took this subject last semester that it is quite tedious and time-consuming. But orh well, I really don’t have much choices so hope it won’t be as bad as they said it is.
Photoshopped the time table to my new desktop wallpaper, saved me trouble of staring at the tiny words on my pin board.
