Thanks for the insight on your camera purchase decision.

I am starting out too but I think that I will go for the Nikon D80 kit. I have comtemplated of getting the Nikon D60 but after much thought, I go for D80. It is more for a long term purpose, where I can spend lesser on switching to a more higher-end (costly) camera.

The number of the lens that can be mounted on the D80 is also another factor.

I have held the D80 and it feel good. Well, thanks agin.
